In Ile-de-France, a very guarded weekend ... before the reconfinement?

Everywhere in the region, as well as in the Oise, we took advantage of this weekend to get some fresh air, perhaps one last time before the third conference.

Rather wise but too numerous to respect the distancing of rigor, hundreds of Parisians had to break camp before the scheduled time, this Sunday, on the quays of the Seine on the right bank.

The most popular on this cool but sunny day, before possible confinement.

Around 5 p.m., the police headquarters evacuated the quay of the Hôtel-de-Ville (4th arrondissement) to the Louis-Philippe bridge and the Île Saint-Louis, after having "noted the non-compliance with the measures of distancing ”.

Calmly but firmly, according to a representative of the prefecture, the walkers were "escorted" to the high quays.

"People understand very well," note the police.

"We get up immediately": in Paris, the police evacuate the crowded quays of the Seine

Saturday afternoon, the banks of the Canal Saint-Martin (Xe) had been evacuated more than an hour before the legal curfew.

Too much carelessness threatened to provoke the same images as those which, last week in Saint-Germain-des-Prés (VIe) and on the Place de la Constrecarpe (Ve), scalded the prefecture and resulted in the taking of 'a decree prohibiting the consumption of alcohol.

This Sunday promised to be relatively reasonable.

The day before, many but respectful as possible of barrier gestures, more difficult to distance, the Parisians had been less casual than eight days ago.

"Operations have taken place and will take place every day"

The police were also present in force to keep watch: control of the wearing of masks, groupings, curfews… 3,600 police officers and gendarmes were thus deployed throughout the capital, this weekend.

The Prime Minister had driven the point home on Saturday by calling for a strengthening of these controls.

"Operations have taken place and will take place every day", supports the prefecture.

This Sunday afternoon on the docks, the police operation, carried out under the watchful eye of cameras, took place without incident but not without criticism.

On social networks, comments are multiplying: “The most embarrassing is that these operations have no health interest, it's just communication for TV, to keep the pressure, but people are upset.

We take away an hour of their walk on an already short Sunday, ”denounces one of them.

5 p.m., the police close the Quais de Seine.

The police headquarters, therefore ensuring overall respect for barrier gestures, however did not wish to communicate a precise assessment of any fines drawn up this weekend.

But there were some.

More underground parties

In Seine-Saint-Denis for example, the police carried out 476 checks and drew up 149 reports for non-compliance with the curfew in the evening from Saturday to Sunday.

They also tracked down establishments that had taken some liberties with the closure rule, and seven were visited by the police.

In Saint-Ouen, in accommodation where a party was being held, everyone had to pay a fine of 135 euros.

The owner of the premises who rented his apartment was arrested for endangering the lives of others.

In the Yvelines, non-compliance with the curfew gave rise during the two days to just over 300 verbalizations by the police and gendarmes.

Among them, a hundred were drawn up in the night from Saturday to Sunday to young people from 20 to 30 years old who participated in a clandestine party in a property of La Boissière-École, on the edge of Eure-et-Loir.

The revelers had been spotted thanks to the surveillance of customs officers, posted at the toll barrier of Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines, on the A10.

The latter had noticed "several vehicles following each other at short intervals and going in the same direction", according to a source close to the file.

The prefecture of the department had indicated Friday its desire to strengthen controls.

250 kilometers of traffic jams at 6.30 p.m.

In the Oise, relative calm reigned on the A1 this Sunday evening.

Rather, it was the small roads that were checked, like an operation launched at 6 p.m. on a departmental road near Pont-Sainte-Maxence.

In one hour of time, no less than 80 motorists were checked without certificate and fined.

Because it is on the roads that the other point of friction was.

The return from winter holidays has kept its promises of traffic jams and made it impossible for many Ile-de-France residents to respect the curfew.

With, according to Sytadin, up to 350 kilometers of traffic jams shortly before 6 pm… and again nearly 250 at 6.30 pm.
