India: Rooster kills its owner during a cockfight
A rooster attached to its body with a knife for a chicken fight held last week in a village in southern India - caused the death of its owner.
The man was stabbed in the groin while the rooster tried to escape, and died of his wounds due to blood loss while traveling to the hospital.
The rooster will be brought to court as evidence later

A rooster with a knife attached to its body ahead of a cockfight killed its owner in southern India last week.
The owner of the rooster was stabbed in the groin while the rooster tried to escape, and died of his wounds due to blood loss while traveling to the hospital.
Local police are now looking for 15 people who were involved in the incident, which took place in a village in the state of Telangana province.
The rooster was kept at a police station before being transferred to the farm.
Police said the animal tried to escape before participating in the battle.

Rooster fights were banned by law in India in 1960, but are still relatively common in rural areas like Telangana, with some taking place around the Sankrani Hindu festival.
This is not the first time chicken owners have found their deaths in their hands in the country.
Last year a man was killed in Andre Pradesh after being hit in the neck by a knife attached to his rooster.
According to CNN, the rooster owners took him to a cockfight when the incident occurred.
