Today, the Iraqi security forces arrested nine ISIS terrorists in security operations they carried out in four governorates.
Alsumaria News quoted the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasul, as saying in a statement: “The formations of the Counter-Terrorism Service, with field follow-up, managed to arrest an ISIS terrorist in Basra Governorate,” adding that the Counter-Terrorism Service arrested three Terrorists in the neighborhoods of the northern city of Kirkuk.
Rasoul indicated that the security forces managed to arrest two wanted "ISIS" terrorists in Anbar Province, as well as three terrorists in Kanous, south of the city of Mosul, in northern Iraq.
Iraqi forces continue to pursue the remnants of "ISIS" terrorists in various Iraqi regions.
