The American newspaper The Wall Street Journal reported Home (Sunday) that Iran had refused an offer from the United States and the European Union to renegotiate Washington's entry into the nuclear deal.
The paper quoted a senior diplomatic source in the service of one of the Western countries as warning that this was a decision that could lead to a severe increase in tensions throughout the region.
Tehran has previously announced that it will refuse to negotiate a United States return to the nuclear deal without removing the economic sanctions imposed by the Trump administration on Iran's economy.
