For the sixth consecutive day in the Russian Federation, the death toll from Coronavirus has decreased from 12,000.
The operations room for combating the outbreak of the virus in the Russian Federation stated today that 11,359 new cases of the virus were recorded during the past 24 hours, compared to 11534 the previous day, indicating that 379 deaths were recorded, compared to 439 deaths the previous day, while 12,391 patients were cured.
With this new outcome, the total number of Corona infections that have been recorded in the country since the start of the pandemic brings to four million and 246079 injuries, including 86,122 deaths.
Since the beginning of this year, Russia has recorded a remarkable gradual decline in the pace of the Corona outbreak, due to the continuation of the large-scale free vaccination campaign that was launched last December using the locally-made "Sputnik V" vaccine.
