Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the international community to intervene urgently and take decisive measures to compel the Israeli occupation to stop its crimes and aggressive practices in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Wafa news agency quoted the Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement today that the international community is required to elevate its responsibilities to higher levels in the face of the occupation's crimes, hold it accountable, and not allow it to escape punishment in accordance with international law.
The Foreign Ministry stated that the occupation continues its colonial plans and annexation operations to large parts of the land of the State of Palestine despite the demands issued by many countries to stop settlement and annexation decisions, demolition and seizure of Palestinian lands in the West Bank.
The Foreign Ministry indicated that maintaining Article Seven in the Human Rights Council is no longer sufficient in the face of the defeatist state of the international community in the face of arrogance and defiance and the occupation’s indifference towards international law and its violation of UN resolutions.
