Forty-seven people who participated in the primary elections of the pro-democracy party last year, including Dai Yaoting, Cen Aohui, Liang Guoxiong and Tan Wenhao, were charged with conspiracy to subvert state power in violation of the "Hong Kong National Security Law". The defendants reported to the police station earlier. He was detained and escorted to West Kowloon Court yesterday (1st).
The hearing lasted until 2 a.m., and due to the fact that the defendant fainted, the Chief Magistrate Su Huide finally adjourned the case and continued to deal with it at 11:30 a.m.
The Judiciary originally expected the hearing to be held at about 11 am yesterday, but the Chief Magistrate Su Huide announced at 12:51 yesterday that because multiple defendants had failed to meet with the lawyers, he said that he would give enough time to the defense and adjourned to the afternoon.
During this period, some people outside the court raised slogans such as "51 hand gestures" and "Five major demands, one is indispensable." The police once raised the purple flag.
The case was finally reopened after 4 pm yesterday, and the prosecution requested that the case be postponed until May 31 for another trial, and requested that the defendant be refused bail.
The defendants applied for bail from last evening until 2 am. The female defendant Yang Xueying fainted and had to be sent to hospital. The Chief Magistrate allowed the case to be postponed until 11:30 am on Tuesday (2nd).
Except for the defendant who was in the hospital, he was remanded under police custody, and all the other defendants were put under the custody of the Correctional Services Department.

By 3 a.m., two other defendants, including the founder of "AbouThai" Lin Jingnan and Tsuen Wan District Councillor Tan Kaibang, also reported that they were unwell and were sent to Caritas Medical Centre for treatment.
