Britain today (Monday) called on a person infected with the Brazilian mutation to come and get infected, due to fears of its effect on vaccines against the corona virus.

This is ahead of the planned relief in the third closure in the kingdom, thanks to the satisfactory rate of vaccines - 20 million people have already received at least one dose of the vaccine.

If the current trend continues, schools in England should return to teaching in classrooms with the gradual opening of the education system.

The Brazilian variant, which originated in Manaus in the north of the country, has so far been discovered among six people in the UK, but one of them has yet to be located.

Experts warn, based on data from Brazil, that the domestic variant is more contagious and more resistant to vaccines than the British variant, which is highly contagious on its own.

In mid-January, Britain banned flights from South America, including from Brazil.

However, the new cases came on a flight departing from Sao Paulo and stopping for a stopover in Zurich around 10 February.

The opposition in the kingdom accused the conservative government of failing to guard the borders.

The death toll from corona in the UK is the highest in Europe.

Mortality has recently slowed down, thanks to the progress of the vaccination campaign at a satisfactory pace, especially in light of the conduct of the European Union.

In Syria, the Ministry of Health has announced the start of vaccinations for medical staff working in isolation centers across the country.

The ministry did not specify the type of vaccines or the amount Damascus purchased, but last month it was reported that it had received Russian "Sputnik 5" vaccines from Israel, as part of the deal to return the Israeli who crossed the border.

On Thursday, Syria said it had received the vaccines from a "friendly country," without mentioning its name.

As of Sunday, 15,588 cases have been diagnosed in Syria and another 1,027 dead from the corona virus.

In India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been vaccinated with the expansion of the operation to more sections of the population.

The vaccination campaign in India opened on January 16, but was limited to medical and emergency teams.

As of today, citizens aged 60 and over and aged 45 to 59 who are in risk groups can be vaccinated.

The 70-year-old Moody was among the first to receive the vaccine today, made by the local "Cubexin".

After receiving the shot, he called for more citizens to be vaccinated when a donor arrived.

"Together, let's make India free from Cubid-19," he tweeted.

The government has set a target of vaccinating 300 million people by the end of July, but the operation is running lazily with only 14 million rations.

Experts warn that without the acceleration of vaccines, the government will not meet this goal.

Another leader who has been vaccinated is the 76-year-old Ghanaian president, who became the first person in the world to be vaccinated through the Covax program, which is designed to provide and distribute free vaccines for poor countries.

The president and first lady received the first dose of the vaccine developed by Astraznica and Oxford, a day before the deployment of more than 600,000 vaccines she had received across the country.

Ghana has recorded 84,023 cases and 607 deaths since the outbreak, although the real numbers are likely to be much higher due to the lack of tests.

The West African country wants to vaccinate 20 of its 30 million citizens by the end of the year, including through vaccines from Russia and India.

Schools reopened in January after ten months of being closed, but fault restrictions have remained in place and land and sea borders have been closed since March last year.

Covax's program involves about 145 countries, which should receive 337.2 million doses by the middle of the year - an amount that will be enough to vaccinate just over 3% of their populations.

Covax hopes to increase the amount in poor countries to 27% by the end of December.
