Reichling - In the past week, according to the Landsberg district office, an infection with the British virus mutation was detected in the vicinity of the kindergarten.
Because a kindergarten child had also tested positive for the corona virus, the health department ordered a series of tests in the daycare center on Thursday.
As a precautionary measure, the facility was closed on Friday (we reported).
The hope that it would stay with one case was not fulfilled.
On Monday, the district office announced that another five kindergarten children from different groups at the daycare center had tested positive for Covid-19.
The coronavirus was also detected in 20 adults in the course of the series tests.
In one of the children and eight of the adults who tested positive, the British virus mutation was also confirmed by the laboratory.

"All people who tested positive are quarantined, as are a number of contact persons 1," said the district office.
The kindergarten will therefore remain closed until March 10th.
In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus as quickly as possible, the health department wants to carry out further series tests in Reichling.
At the same time, the district office and the community point out that the Reichlingers can test free of charge in the test center in Penzing.
