District - There are many questions about vaccination.
The two directors of the vaccination center in Hausham, lawyer Beate Faus and Dr.
Thomas Straßmüller, answers our readers' questions on the subject.
Why is it important to speak to the doctor at the vaccination appointment?
Beate Faus:
Because the doctor at the vaccination center knows which vaccine is intended for you.
Unfortunately you do not see this when booking the appointment.
Then your personal situation can best be clarified.
If you come to the conclusion that you do not want to be vaccinated, you can leave without any problems.
There is no compulsory vaccination - not even at the appointment.
What documents do I have to bring with me to the vaccination appointment?

Faus:
It is very different.
You must be able to identify yourself and prove that you have been vaccinated.
The ID card can also have expired, that is not harmful.
My wife and I have registered in the vaccination portal.
Can we now get vaccinated together?
Dr. Thomas Straßmüller:
Unfortunately, there is currently no guarantee.
Even if you have registered together, the computer system evaluates you as two separate people.
It is therefore rather unlikely that you will both be offered an appointment at the same time.
Faus:
In fact, we have no influence on site because the software is offered by the Free State of Bavaria.

I fall in group 3. When should I register?
Faus:
Immediately if you want.
You will then be assigned an appointment as soon as it is your turn according to the system.
I am 75 years old.
Will I also be written to and invited?
Faus:
No, unfortunately not.
This service was only offered to people over the age of 80.
You have to take action yourself and register yourself.
My husband and I are both over 80 years old and don't own a computer.
So we haven't done anything yet.
Do we get an appointment soon?

Straßmüller:
Unfortunately not.
You need to register.
Either ask relatives or friends to do the online registration at impfzentren.bayern for you.
Or you can use the option to register by telephone on 0 80 25/704 77 77. There is currently a postcard campaign for people over 80 who are not yet registered.
The cards are on display in the town halls of the municipalities and are prepaid.
You send us the postcard with the request to be called.
Then an employee from the vaccination center calls.

My neighbor cannot come to the vaccination center because of her old age and her disability.
Who should we turn to for a home vaccination?
Dr. Straßmüller: In
this case, I would ask you to first contact your neighbour's family doctor.
Our current problem is the pending official permit to transport the vaccine.
The manufacturer says that this is possible, but the approval of the European approval authority is still missing.
However, we are already collecting information about people who need to be vaccinated at home and are working to find a solution as soon as possible.

I am handicapped.
Will there be a wheelchair for me at the vaccination center?
Faus:
Of course we have a wheelchair on site.
I would like to be vaccinated by my family doctor.
Will that be possible at some point?
Dr. Straßmüller: Definitely
.
At the moment, however, we cannot say exactly when it will be so far.
I would roughly speak of a start in summer.
