Do what I say, but not what I do.
This phrase could describe the attitude of Vice President Cristina Kirchner during the inauguration of the 139th regular session of Congress, where she was seen at all times without the corresponding mask to avoid the spread of coronavirus.
The former president got out of the car that took her to Congress without a chinstrap on and was exposed at all times.
He even received like this together with Sergio Massa (also without a mask) President Alberto Fernández, who did use the chinstrap at all times, until the moment he began his speech.
As soon as he sat down on the premises, the opposition pointed out the lack of protocol to the vice president.
“I followed the law!
Put on your chinstrap! "
shouted the deputy of Together for Change Fernando Iglesias.
Undeterred, the vice president ordered the session to be opened.

Always controversial, Iglesias continued with the criticism on his Twitter account: “The Hymn is heard: see the noble Equality on the throne!
The only one without a chinstrap: Queen Cleopatra of Toulouse, sovereign of the Feudalia Peronchia.
Welcome to #ElMedioevoPeronista ”, he wrote.
Later, with the passing of the Legislative Assembly, Iglesias also had a crossroads with Alberto Fernández, when he interrupted him several times, which generated the anger of the President: "He had 4 years to speak, why doesn't he let me speak ? ", he replied.
Another of the legislators who questioned the vice president was
Karina Banfi, a
radical from Together for Change.
“We began the opening speech of the ordinary sessions of the National Congress.
Vice President Cristina Fernández does not wear a chinstrap, the rest of the people do, ”he wrote.
Although the vice president was vaccinated and has already received the two doses of Sputnik V, the protocol does not exempt her from using the chinstrap as one of the tools to reduce the spread of coronavirus.
Beyond criticism from the opposition, the situation quickly replicated on social networks, particularly on Twitter, where criticism of the former president was immediate.
"CFK enters the congress without a chinstrap. Always wanting to show that she feels exempt from all rules," wrote one user.
"I believe that @CFKArgentina did not put on the chinstrap so that we can see the faces that it makes. Anyway, it is wrong," was another of the messages.
