The late was born in al-Qaymariya neighborhood in Damascus in 1934, he obtained a BA in history from the University of Damascus in 1963 and he is a member of the Research Society of the Arab Writers Union. He was distinguished by his abundant production in literature, history and children's stories. Murad won several awards in the field of children's literature from the UAE and China and had a permanent presence in the Syrian and Arab cultural magazines and periodicals, as well as his continuous participation in the activities and festivals organized by the Ministry of Culture and its institutions.
