Denis Bergamini: the investigation into the player's death concluded, the former investigated

 The Public Prosecutor of Castrovillari notified the conclusion of the investigation into the death of the Cosenza player Donato "Denis" Bergamini, to Isabella Internò, former girlfriend of the Cosenza midfielder, who remains the only one under investigation for the murder of the Cosenza player.

The news was made known with a press release from the acting Prosecutor, Simona Manera.

    Archived the positions of the Tir driver under whose wheels Denis Bergamini, the Cosenza midfielder, was found dead on the evening of November 18, 1989 and that of the woman's husband, who was initially investigated for aiding and abetting in relation to the statements provided by his wife in enforcement phase as witnesses.

    "We learned of the news of the closure of the investigation - explained in a video posted on facebook - the lawyer of the Bergamini family, Fabio Anselmo, also speaking on behalf of Denis's sister, Donata - from a press release from the Public Prosecutor of Castrovillari. we know what happened to the other suspects, we know, however, that Isabella Internò remains accused of multiple murder and therefore, as such, strictly punishable by life imprisonment (not subject to prescription) ".

    "We hope - adds the family lawyer - to be able to view the investigation documents and the file soon. For this reason we have already sent a request via certified e-mail to that effect.

    We really hope that the prosecutor will issue us a copy of the documents because I believe that the family Bergamini has full right just as he might have had the right to know the results in another way ".

    The investigation was reopened six years ago by the former Castrovillari prosecutor Eugenio Facciolla and then continued and closed by the prosecutor Luca Primicerio.

In the investigation it is assumed that Bergamini could be killed and then laid down on the asphalt to be run over.

At the basis of the fact there would have been the end, by decision of the player, of the bond with the woman.
