This is what a British chef claims, who tried to seriously test the ticking trend that includes cooking and frying in unconventional ways • However, Sage: "Do not do it at home"
British chef Craig Harker (34), saw Tiktok another one of those viral videos that teach how to make a steak in a toaster and just did not believe it was true.
"I know how to make steaks at all levels of their preparation, it's my profession so it just seemed weird to me," he wrote on his Facebook page before doing a self-experiment in making steak on toast.

Harker decided to give it a try and documented it on his restaurant's Facebook page - "The George Pub & Grill".
To his surprise, it worked extremely well.
"First of all, don't do it at home," he began.
"I had to try this method after seeing the ticking videos. I put in a spicy steak and the first time the result came out 'rarer' too. The second time it came out 'well done' but the third time I was able to make, using only a toaster, the perfect steak."
"Of course," continued the British chef, whose restaurant had been closed for many months due to the country's corona restrictions, "I will not serve any dish like that in my restaurant, but it would have been really nice to discover this method."
