The courses of "English Communication" and "Professional English for Service Industry" will be offered in 2021-23, and the qualification framework level 3 certificate issued by the course provider or the qualification framework certificate of individual units can be obtained.

In addition to the qualifications of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (Category B subjects), students who take the "Applied Learning (Occupational English)" course, if they meet the assessment and attendance requirements, can also obtain the qualifications framework level 3 certificate or individual modules issued by the course provider Qualifications Framework Certificate.
As an optional subject, although the results of "Applied Learning (Occupational English)" are not equivalent to the results of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education English Language Examination, students can also obtain the results of English Language as a required subject of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination.
