The Russian Direct Investments Fund announced that it has received many requests from European Union countries to supply the Russian (Sputnik V) vaccine against the Coronavirus.
Russia Today’s website quoted the head of the fund, Kirill Dmitriev, as saying in a statement that “the requests come after the competent authorities in those countries analyze information about the Russian vaccine,” indicating that cooperation continues in this direction with the European Medicines Agency within the framework of the vaccine study process that began in Last December.
Dozens of countries, including European countries, have shown interest in supplies of the Russian vaccine, after receiving doses of the (Sputnik V) vaccine before the European Union agreed to use it.
It is noteworthy that the (Sputnik V) vaccine, which was developed by the Russian "Gamalia" Research Center, became the first anti-corona virus vaccine registered in the world last August.
