Last month, the Houthis attacked Abha airport in Saudi Arabia.

As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on a civilian passenger plane.

The Saudi-led Arab coalition reacted to the incident and stressed that the attempt to harm the airport and threaten the lives of civilians in southern Saudi Arabia was a war crime.

This attack was preceded by reports in Saudi Arabia of the interception of two armed UAVs launched by the pro-Iranian Houthi militia towards southern Saudi Arabia.

A few weeks ago, US President Joe Biden updated on the cessation of support for the Saudi coalition in the war in Yemen.

The US administration has also decided to remove the Houthi militia from the list of terrorist organizations in order to prevent indirect harm to the local population.

Since 2015, 110,000 people have died in Yemen.

According to human rights organizations, by mid-2021 some 16 million people will be at risk of starvation at varying levels.
