(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 01 - The Invalsi tests of Italian, Mathematics and English (reading and listening) start today in the upper five for the 500,000 students who will take the final exams.

The tests will be in presence and will be organized by the schools independently, with small groups of students until March 31st.

For the supplementary tests for the last year of the high school there is time until May 21st.

The result will not be binding for admission to the State Exams starting on June 16th.

"I send the best wishes to the students: I tell them that they will be an interesting job for themselves but also for the others - says Anna Maria Ajello, president of Invalsi: from the information that will arrive, we will have an important first data, without blaming anyone for the many adverse events that we have. hit in recent months. With these tests we would in fact have the first reliable data to be able to say what happened and how and where we will have to recover. It is therefore also a generous act to carry out these tests, to help understand the breadth of the learning gap ". In the second grade the tests will be on paper and will begin on 6 May; in 5th grade paper tests from 5 May. In the eighth grade the tests will be on the computer and the starting date is April 7th. In II superior - again on pc - the tests will begin on May 10th. The tests all take place in presence. (HANDLE).
