When?!

IKEA - the Swedish home products giant is marking 20 years of activity in Israel this month.

On the occasion of the local birthday celebration, the chain will give a 20 percent discount on all cooking, baking and serving utensils during March 2021.

In addition, the chain decided to summarize the first two decades of IKEA activity in Israel and publish the list of best sellers - their 20 best-selling products in Israel.

And even though it seems to you that everyone has the same living room table and the same chest of drawers in the bedroom, these are actually the smaller things that star there, like simple drinking glasses, LED bulbs, small candles and yes, also the little squeegee we all have near the sink or shower.

IKEA said that the move to mark 20 years of the chain's activity in Israel will also be accompanied by a campaign that will describe sentences and situations familiar to anyone who has visited IKEA over the years.

The campaign will go up on TV, digital and social networks.

There is no doubt that the Israelis embraced the Ikea experience.

"The very fact that since the establishment of IKEA in Israel in 2001, more than 70 million people have passed through the store gates, shows that we Israelis have lovingly adopted the IKEA concept, which provides a unique shopping experience along with affordable prices," said Shuki Koblenz, CEO IKEA Israel.

Since the establishment of IKEA in Israel, the chain has opened five stores throughout the country: Netanya (in 2001), Rishon LeZion (in 2010), Kiryat Ata (in 2014), Beer Sheva (in 2018) and Eshtaol (in 2020) .

In addition, about two years ago, an IKEA KITCHENS store was opened in the Tel Aviv port, with a showroom of designed kitchens.
