Damascus-Sana
For the second day in a row, the Ministry of Health continues to administer the "Covid 19" vaccine to health cadres working on front lines within isolation centers designated for treating "Covid 19" patients in various governorates.
The Minister of Health, Dr. Hassan Muhammad Al-Ghobash, stated in a statement to SANA that the most vulnerable groups, who work in isolation centers, are currently vaccinated, and the priority for the older age group is due to limited supplies.
Minister Ghobash stated that starting the immunization of health workers guarantees their protection and their continued provision of health care, explaining that the vaccine has been used in many countries and has proven effective and that it is given voluntarily.
Minister Ghobash also stressed the need for strictness and adherence to preventive measures, especially wearing the muzzle, spatial distancing and washing hands, because these are behaviors that have proven successful in reducing the speed of spread and stabilizing the injury trend.
The Ministry of Health monitored an increase in the trend of Corona injuries in the recent period and the increase in suspected cases that are reviewing hospitals, which calls for strictness in following preventive measures and not tolerating them at all, especially since the countries of the world are facing new mutated strains of the Corona virus and Syria will not be immune from them.
