Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court Judge Or Mammon today (Monday) extended by four days the detention of 21-year-old Yarin Sharaf from Sderot, who is suspected of having the consent of a 13-year-old girl in the Corona Hotel of the Ministry of Welfare,

As you may recall, about a week ago, Sharaf was arrested after a complaint was filed against him for raping a 13-year-old girl day after day. The girl said that she refused and Sharaf beat and strangled her.

At the end of the second incident, the guide entered the room and hid in the bathroom.

Sharaf did not deny having sex with the girl, but claimed that she brought the suspect into her room and the relationship was consensual, and that she told him she was 16 years old.

Police spokesman Yevgeny Kapelevich said during today's hearing that "this is a very serious case. The evidence pool has strengthened since the previous detention extension, and we have correspondence in which the girl tells him not to come to her room. The incident was coercive and violent."

On the other hand, defense attorney Adv. Nir David said that the relationship was consensual and there was no call for help from the girl, and the one who terminated the relationship was the instructor who came to the room and the girl asked the young man to hide. And he gave it willingly since it's the alibi.

The police are trying to create something out of nothing. "

Judge Mammon noted in his decision that there is a reasonable suspicion that the suspect carried out what was attributed to him, and his actions indicate his danger.

The investigation is still in its infancy and the actions have led to the receipt of additional investigative materials that should help in understanding the investigation.

But there are still many actions that will lead to an understanding of consent.

"Scarred her for life"

At the opening of the hearing on the extension of Sharaf's detention, the girl's mother turned to the judge and said: "Her life has been completely erased."

She came out against Sharaf and called him a "human animal," and sought to punish him with the full severity of the law: "He ended her life and scarred her forever and ever."

"This act is a despicable act. I am here with trembling legs and a broken heart," the mother said.

"I stand before the judge and ask to punish the cruel criminal with the full severity of the law for scarring her forever and ever. For my child, life ended in a cruel act."

In welfare hotels, young people at risk live until the age of 25. The person responsible for them is the Ministry of Labor and Welfare and not the Home Front Command, like the other hotels.

The rules in the welfare department say that a man and a woman are not allowed to live in the same room, and the victim's testimony indicates that she asked that he not come to her room.
