Corona statistics on Russia: Sharply increased number of deaths

There are several corona realities in Russia.
The first can be found on Stop Coronavirus, a government website.
There, the Corona staff recorded a total of more than
57,000
deaths for the country
at the end of 2020
.
The second recently published by the statistics agency Rosstat:
According to this,
around
104,000 people
died of Covid-19 in the past year.
The virus was the leading cause of death for them.
In addition, there are another
58,000 deaths,
in which Covid-19 was not the main cause of death.

The Russian government explains the large discrepancy between the Rosstat numbers and the numbers on their official dashboard with the fact that Rosstat always takes into account the results of the autopsies.
In the daily corona statistics, however, only deaths would be included in which Covid-19 was undoubtedly the main cause of death even without an autopsy.
But can that be true?
Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin recently praised his government's corona management again.
Russia coped with the pandemic much better overall than the EU countries and the USA, he claimed in a round with editors-in-chief of the leading media.
In any case, he never tires of praising the Russian vaccine "Sputnik V" as the best vaccine in the world.
