However, the police immediately stated that they may not be able to arrange dinner for all the defendants in time.

In addition, the barrister representing Xu Zijian revealed in the court that Xu suffers from diabetes and needs to take insulin regularly. However, after his arrest earlier, his insulin was collected by the police, which made him feel unwell and was sent to hospital for treatment. He continues to be unable to appear in court today.

Guan Su immediately asked whether he needed to give the lawyer more time to obtain instructions from Xu, but the lawyer said that there was no need to postpone.

The court heard the bail applications of eight defendants today, including: Yuan Jiawei, Wu Minyi, Liu Yingkuang, Ke Yaolin, Wu Qiheng, Liang Huangwei, Tan Dezhi, Xu Zijian, and there are still about 18 applications pending.

The court is now processing He Qiming's application.

On the contrary, Chief Magistrate Su Huide stated that he originally wanted to continue, but due to the lack of physical strength of the defendant, he decided to postpone it.

However, at 3 am, Lin Jingnan, the founder of AbouThai, and Tan Kaibang, a member of the Tsuen Wan District Council, were also unwell and had to be escorted to Caritas Medical Centre by ambulance.

By nearly 4 a.m., the defendant Liang Guoxiong "Chang Mao", who was over 60 years old, was also unwell and sent to hospital.

Except for these 5 people and Xu Zijian, who had been admitted to the hospital but did not go to court, the remaining more than 40 defendants are under the custody of the Correctional Services Department.
