Five young men will appear in court in the fall following an arrest on Saturday for trying to climb with bare hands on the Abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel.
Aged in their twenties, they went to the scene to film a session of “p
arkour
”, a practice of acrobatic movement where individuals cross urban or natural obstacles.

A climber and a drone pilot were arrested on Monday March 1 while they were trying their hand at a “
Parkour
”
session
on the roofs of the Mont-Saint-Michel abbey.
A scene which repeats itself since Saturday February 27 three other young people were also arrested for the same facts on this cultural site reports

Of the five young men arrested, three climbers will have to answer for their acts before the police court of Coutances next November in order to be tried for "
offense of unauthorized trespassing in a historical or cultural place
" according to the regional daily.
The pilots of the drone are summoned in September for a rapid judgment procedure that is the "
plead guilty
".
