When asked if the union has any next steps, he said that he is waiting for the government to intervene and invite the company to a meeting, but the meeting has not been scheduled until now.

KMB originally arranged to retire and re-appoint the bus captain to sign a new contract from the 1st of this month and convert to a part-time job.
Lai Siu-cong pointed out that KMB yesterday did not request to withdraw the certificate of retired car captains who did not sign a new contract. However, some retired car captains decided to return their certificates because they were dissatisfied with the company's tough attitude.
He pointed out that the retired car captain who has not signed a new contract will continue to work as usual today, but starting tomorrow, the relevant employees have been assigned a 6-hour night shift.
Lai Siu-chong threatened last Thursday (25th) that if KMB insisted on rejecting the withdrawal plan, it would definitely escalate its actions, take more drastic actions, and even have the opportunity to blitz depots or stop stations.
When asked whether the labor union has decided to take further action on the incident, Lai Siu-cong said that he is now waiting for government departments to intervene and has asked the authorities to assist in the holding of labor-management talks, but the company has not yet arranged to meet.
