A 52-year-old Croat was blown during a police check on Kreuzstrasse.
He had seven people in the car.
He shouldn't have been behind the wheel at all.
Gmund - On Monday around 4 p.m., civil investigators from the Bad Wiessee police station checked a seven-person Renault Master registered in Croatia in Gmund in the area of so-called Kreuzstrasse.
Research revealed that the vehicle had already appeared several times for illegal passenger transport.
This time, too, the driver, a 52-year-old Croat, was unable to show any permits as to why he was transporting people from across southern Germany for a fee.
Police check on Kreuzstrasse: Croatians actually had a driving ban
According to the police, a further check of the driver revealed that the Hamburg authorities already had an effective driving ban against him.
Due to the violations, the man had to deposit a security deposit in the middle three-digit amount after consulting the responsible public prosecutor's office.
He was forbidden to continue his journey.
He is now facing criminal proceedings for driving despite a driving ban and a violation of the Passenger Transport Act.
