Today, the branch of the General Organization for Seed Multiplication in Daraa ended the sale of imported potato seeds to farmers to cover their needs in the 2021 agricultural season, as the total quantities sold reached 4,212 tons.
The director of the foundation’s branch, Eng. Ghazi Al-Nassif, said in a statement to SANA’s correspondent today that the seed sale proceeded at a good pace without delay, pointing out that it was sold at promotional prices compared to the private sector.
Last season, the branch of the General Organization for Seed Multiplication in Daraa sold about 2,174 tons of potato seeds to farmers.
