The unemployment insurance reform will come into force on July 1 for the controversial new method of calculating the compensation for job seekers, the unions said at the end of a final consultation session with the Ministry of Work Tuesday.

The hardening of the opening of rights (from 4 to 6 months of work out of the last 24) will come into force on 1 October at the earliest. It will depend on an improvement in the labor market appreciated over six months from April 1. The bonus-malus on company contributions will be effective in summer 2022 after one year of observation.
