Five minors are implicated in the violent assault of a high school student in Champigny in early February. Some of the accused are linked to the group

The clip uploaded just before the lynching slams like a warning.

In an alley of the Bois-L'abbé in Champigny-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne), a group of a few young people swoop down on a teenager, dragging him to the lobby of a building from where he ends up taking the escape.

One of the two singers of 19 Gvng then shows off the victim's backpack.

"We will make you jump like a speed bump [...] In my team in case of conflict we have the tools.

We are all nice, not rude but for the fight we are evil [...] We pull-up you

(Editor's note: tear you away) in

front of your school and then we shoot.

"

Three weeks after the release of this title in the Gangsta rap vein, blood has flowed in Champigny.

And this time, reality has far surpassed fiction.

On February 5, a 15-year-old teenager coming out of Louise-Michel high school was lynched by a gang of ten people.

The young man's vital prognosis, including four stab wounds, was for a time engaged.

"If he is still alive, it is probably thanks to his backpack," says a source close to the matter.

A bloodstained knife found

It took two weeks for the police from SDPJ 94 (the departmental judicial police service) to arrest the alleged perpetrators of this attack, some of whom were linked to 19 Gvng.

Five teenagers - all minors - were referred ten days ago to the Créteil court for attempted homicide.

One of them, aged 15, was remanded in custody.

A "strict judicial review" was decided for the other four.

None of these indicted adolescents was, however, not known to justice before this lynching.

The stabbed young man is not a delinquent either.

On Friday February 5, shortly before 6 pm, he returned home to the Diderot district, a “sector not particularly criminogenic”, according to a resident.

As he walks alone on a sidewalk in Rue de Verdun, in the city center, he feels a dozen assailants appear behind him from Place Lénine.

Dressed in black and wearing black masks, they are provided with iron bars and sticks.

They tackle him to the ground and go wild.

"As in the Yuriy affair

", sums up a local resident.

It is not known how long the lynching lasts.

When help arrives, the teenager lies on the ground.

The attackers fled in the direction of rue Guittard.

This is where the Champigny police officers will get their hands on a large knife stained with blood.

Seriously injured in particular in the thorax, the victim was transported by the Samu to the Salpêtrière hospital in Paris (13th century).

The teenager will be sutured in several places of the body.

You will have to put a drain on it.

"We are not at all on drug or delinquency cases"

Investigators do not take long to determine the motive for this attempted homicide.

“There was a dispute between a band of Diderot and another linked to the rap group 19 Gvng du Bois-l'Abbé, decrypts a source close to the case.

They provoked each other on social networks and through rap songs.

It was not the first brawl.

"" We are not at all on drug or delinquency cases but rather on jealousy between rappers, "believes one resident.

"It's incomprehensible," rants a big brother of the city.

The little ones of 19 Gvng, however, are not thugs.

They are guys passionate about rap.

A few years ago, filmed by a journalist, they even made a tour of Bois-l'Abbé.

According to him, the explanation is undoubtedly to be found on the side of the health crisis.

“Most of the structures that allow the supervision of adolescents are closed due to Covid-19,” he underlines.

"The fantasy of the almighty gangster"

At the beginning of last week, after the death of two adolescents in Essonne and before that of a young person in Bondy (Seine-Saint-Denis), the sociologist Thomas Sauvadet evoked “the growing influence of the Gangsta rap culture which peddles the fantasy of the all-powerful gangster in his territory ”.

At the beginning, the 19 Gvng, which takes its name from a building in La Queue-en-Brie, where part of the group comes from, was not strictly speaking in this vein.

In their title "Latin trap", with South American sounds, the artists hoped to become "fucking stars, pleasing daddy mom by staying on the right track".
