When turning left from the B-471 onto the A-92 near Oberschleißheim, a 28-year-old VW bus driver overlooked a truck and trailer.
The 28-ton truck hit the minibus head-on.

A 28-year-old from Burgau was traveling in a VW bus on the B-471 from Oberschleißheim towards Dachau.
At the junction with the A92, he wanted to turn left towards the Autobahn - and according to the police, he must have overlooked an oncoming truck combination.
Accident in Oberschleißheim: the truck driver is still trying to swerve to the right
The 27-year-old Maisacher at the wheel of the truck tried to swerve to the right, but hit the minibus head-on.
His driver was seriously injured.
The truck and trailer knocked over a traffic light mast, broke through the guardrail over a length of 50 meters, plowed 15 meters down the embankment and finally stopped.

The driver of the VW bus came to the hospital with the ambulance service.
Likewise, the truck driver, who was only slightly injured and could be treated on an outpatient basis, reports to the police.
Both vehicles are just junk.
The police estimate the total damage at 100,000 euros.
Total closure of the B-471 leads to massive disabilities
For the rescue work, the B-471 had to be closed in both directions from 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
Despite the diversion, there were significant obstructions.
The Oberschleissheim volunteer fire brigade was also in action, under the direction of Commander Wolfgang Schnell.
