Before being sold at Sotheby's in Paris, the canvas, which had remained in private hands for a century, aroused wonder in Amsterdam.


Since Monday, the unpublished Van Gogh presented until then at the Charpentier gallery in Paris arrived at Sotheby's in Amsterdam.
