What is behind the decisions of the International Court of Justice in The Hague?

The president of the Shurat HaDin organization, Adv. Nitzana Darshan-Leitner, was interviewed for "15 Minutes," the podcast of "Israel Today" presented by Yossi Hadar, and referred to a statement on Israel's investigation into war crimes.

"Breaking the silence and B'Tselem are giving back to the International Court of Justice in The Hague," Darshan-Leitner said.

"The conflict between Israel and the Palestinians is a political conflict, which cannot be examined by legal standards," she added.

Darshan-Leitner believes that there is no one to talk to, because the court "stitched" Israel to war in the first place, allegedly committing war crimes, while ignoring the crimes of Palestinian organizations.

How was the tribunal set up in The Hague, on what basis did it make its decision, who should it really investigate, how might the change in US attitude to the tribunal after the election of Biden affect it, and what should Israel do to deal with the tribunal?

Listen to 15 Minutes ".

The podcast was recorded before the official announcement of the tribunal.
