After good results, Al-Arabi football team surpassed the group stage of first-class clubs within the second group, which included alongside it the teams of Al-Mohafaza, Al-Nidal, Al-Nabek, Al-Dameer and Maadamiyeh Al-Sham, to reserve a place for it in the final round that qualified for the excellent class.
Al-Arabi team won 19 points in the group stage in victories over the struggle back and forth 1- zero and Maadamiyeh al-Sham 1-zero, and al-Nabek and Ad-Dameer forward with the same result, and scored four draws, back to the Nabak without goals, and with the conscience 1-1 and back with the governorate 2 -2 and Moadamiyeh Al-Sham without goals in exchange for one loss in the first leg in front of the governorate, the leaders of Group 1-3.
Al Arabi scored 14 goals, including 6 goals by Qusay Murshid, five for Shout Naeem, two goals for Ruwad Nasser and one for Majdy Morshed, while his net was only six goals.
According to the team's coach, Caesar Baroque, the results were within expectations, as the team performed well with a gradual improvement in the second stage, noting the players ’commitment to the instructions assigned to them and resolving the results of many matches in the second half.
