An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale hit Fiji, in the South Pacific Ocean, today, with no injuries reported.
The US Geological Survey stated that the earthquake was detected, with a depth of 552.27 km, at a latitude of 21,1207 degrees south and longitude of 178.7464 degrees west.
A 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck in July last year off the coast of Fiji in the Pacific Ocean without a tsunami.
