Belarus renewed its support for Syria's right to preserve its sovereignty, territorial integrity and territorial integrity.
Andrei Savinich, Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Foreign Affairs in the Belarusian House of Representatives, confirmed during his meeting with the Syrian ambassador to the Republic of Belarus, Muhammad al-Amrani, that his country stands by Syria in the face of the unjust economic coercive measures imposed by the United States and Western countries on it.
In his turn, Ambassador Al-Amrani expressed Syria's appreciation for the Belarusian position in support of it in its war on terror, stressing that it stood by Belarus in the face of attempts to interfere in its internal affairs.
The two sides affirmed that the relations between Syria and Belarus are historic and solid relations of friendship, stressing that there is a common desire to strengthen them at various levels.
The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in various fields, especially in the parliamentary field, in a way that contributes to strengthening the existing ties between the Syrian Parliament and the Belarusian Parliament and between the two friendly peoples.
