Capitol police in the United States have received intelligence of a possible plot to break into the compound tomorrow (Thursday).
According to the Capitol police, Lydia received information about an "unidentified militia group" planning to storm the seat of the US Congress, which was attacked by supporters of former President Donald Trump on January 6.
Conspiracy theories recently promoted by far-right elements marked March 4 as the day Trump is sworn in for a second term.
"We take intelligence information seriously," the Capitol police said, noting that they are working with local, state and federal authorities "to stop any threat to the Capitol."
