While three staff members were affected by the virus in February, a union believes that not all efforts are being made to

Concern is growing among bus drivers in the Creilloise agglomeration.

Since the start of the health crisis, around ten of them have been affected by Covid-19.

While three staff members were reached last month, the CFDT union believes today that all efforts are not made by management to better protect users and its employees.

After a first social alarm launched by the union, in particular because of the financial situation and the state of the equipment, the health question comes to warm the spirits a little more.

The context is all the more sensitive as the health situation within the agglomeration of Creil remains very closely monitored.

"The situation is already complicated, it only accentuates the tensions"

From now on, the threat of a strike is in any case not excluded.

“On the three cases of February, we had no information, regrets Hicham El Abiad, union delegate.

However, since last year and the start of the pandemic, the procedure was correctly followed.

"According to the trade unionist, the management would take care not to" leak "this information, for fear of ending up with too many stoppages to manage.

"The situation is already complicated, it only accentuates the tensions," he said.

Another complaint: the cleaning of the buses, which would not be properly carried out on Saturdays, according to the union.

“There is only one person for 25 buses, against four during the week,” explains Hicham El Abiad.

Suddenly, she can only do the floors.

They're not doing anything to stop it.

But we have friends, families and we don't feel reassured.

"We do our best to ensure their safety"

Director of the Creillois RATP dev bus network, a sector of the Ile-de-France region which took over from Kéolis in September 2019, Karima Mimis assures her that everything was done according to a strict protocol.

“It is true that they have not been informed of the latest cases.

But it is because it was a case of contact of contact cases or of infected people on vacation and who came back to work with the necessary authorizations, ”she says.

The director also denies any desire for concealment on the part of the company: “We have scrupulously respected, from the start, the protocols imposed.

Moreover, we have not had any case developed directly within the company.

We provide additional cleaning products to the drivers, masks, gloves.

I understand their concern, but we are doing our best to ensure their safety.

"

Regarding the cleaning, carried out by a subcontractor, Karima Mimis certifies that the number of people does not change anything.

“Whether it's one or four people, the missions are the same,” she says.

If it turns out that everything is not done correctly, the subcontractor will be put on notice to resolve the problem.
