Summary.
On the night of April 7, 2004, little Jonathan Coulom disappeared from his room, while he was in sea class in Saint-Brevin-les-Pins (Loire-Atlantique) with his friends.
The shy young boy seems to have vanished, leaving his things behind.
A large gendarmerie device was then mobilized.
His body was finally found in a pond a month later, in the town of Guérande (Loire-Atlantique), thirty kilometers away.
Quickly, the case seemed to interest the German police, who were investigating a mysterious pedophile nicknamed "the man in black".
Forty-year-old educator Martin Ney was finally arrested in Germany in 2011, but he still denies his involvement in Jonathan's murder.
The statements of a former fellow detainee have recently revived the hopes of French investigators.
For Code source, Timothée Boutry, reporter for Le Parisien, looks back on this case which is still not clarified.
