According to the police, the 20-year-old driver of the accident car and his racing partner - who, like the accident victim, is 19 years old - met on Tuesday evening at a roundabout near Warnhofen.
According to initial findings, the two then delivered a race at speeds of well over 150 kilometers per hour. The fatal accident happened in a forest, the police said.
The accident vehicle had left the road and rolled over in the green strip next to it.
Then it hit a tree, overturned again, and came to a stop about 50 meters away.
The 19-year-old passenger was thrown out of the car and was fatally injured.

The accident happened at a pedestrian crossing.
The teenager was killed.
Now the criminal investigation department is investigating.
