A 63-year-old man died at the Community Vaccination Center of Kwun Chung Gymnasium in Jordan last Friday (February 26). He died two days after being vaccinated with Kexing New Crown Vaccine. Kong Fanyi said that according to preliminary medical anatomy data, the deceased had severe coronary heart disease and three severe cardiovascular obstructions. Therefore, the expert committee agreed that the cause of death was not directly related to vaccination, and the most likely cause of death was coronary heart disease and acute myocardial infarction. , Pulmonary edema causes respiratory failure and death.
The committee stated that the vaccination program will continue to encourage the elderly to vaccinate with high-risk individuals. It is recommended that patients with severe or uncontrolled chronic diseases seek the advice of their family doctors before the injection.
The committee will wait for a full autopsy report, which will take one to two weeks, and will give a detailed account of the incident.
