A magnitude 6.3 earthquake according to the USGS occurred on Wednesday March 3 near Larissa, a large city in central Greece, where residents took to the streets, according to local media.

The earthquake was felt in central and northern Greece.
According to the first information from the geodynamic observatory of Athens, the epicenter of the earthquake, of magnitude 6, took place 21 km south of the municipality of Elassona, near Larissa, and 350 km north of Athens.
