The new crown pneumonia epidemic in Hong Kong continues, with 14 new confirmed cases on Wednesday (2nd).

The government gazetted the mandatory testing announcement today (3rd) evening, and included 11 locations for mandatory testing, including 5 buildings and 5 workplaces. Among them, Kam Lan House, Kam Fung Court, Ma On Shan, was included in the mandatory testing on the 12th of last month. After building, it was on the list for the second time in less than a month.

In addition, Sau Ming Primary School in Kwun Tong is also on the list, and staff and students are required to undergo mandatory testing.

According to information from the Department of Health, a 23-year-old female patient number 11045 reported that she had been to Sau Ming Primary School on or before March 1. The patient had an epidemiological connection with the local case. She lived at No. 48-56 Choi Hung Road, San Po Kong. Jinglou is expected to be the family of an 83-year-old male patient in the same residence.

Complete the test by this Friday at the latest

Anyone who has been in the above-mentioned specified building for more than two hours between February 18 and March 3, but not limited to residents, visitors, and staff, will be tested.

As for designated workplaces, full-time, part-time and substitute employees are all tested.

In terms of schools, in addition to full-time, part-time and substitute employees, students are also required to be tested, and the deadline is March 5 (this Friday) or before.

If the person under inspection has been tested between March 1 and March 3, they will be deemed to have complied with the requirements of the mandatory testing announcement.

In addition, the government will set up additional mobile sampling stations tomorrow (4th) to serve local residents and staff who are subject to compulsory testing, including Chi Fu Garden in Pokfulam, Kwai Shing Community Hall, and Lohas Park in Tseung Kwan O.

The mobile sampling station at Tung Chung North Park will extend its service date to next Friday (March 12).

In addition to mobile sampling stations, the subject can also choose to receive testing services at any community testing center in all districts in Hong Kong, free of charge.
