Tonight (Wednesday), Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu officially launched the Likud's election campaign, at the first political conference under the restrictions of the green label that took place in the nation's buildings in Jerusalem.

In his opening remarks, the Prime Minister criticized the International Court of Justice's decision to investigate war crimes in the Gaza Strip and Judea and Samaria, attacked political rivals, led by Yesh Lapid chairman Yair Lapid, and stressed his actions in bringing Corona vaccines to Israel.

"Yesterday, Lapid said in an interview that Saar and Bennett were just talking, but after the election they sat under him. Danny Dayan also came out today and said that Gideon was in the Lapid-led government. After taking off the masks, it should be understood that there will be a close battle between those who want a stable right-wing government. "To give their votes to Yair Lapid as prime minister," Netanyahu said.

The prime minister continued to tease Lapid about things he had said in the past about the arrival of vaccines in Israel.

"Do you remember what Lapid said about the vaccines? That in January a box with five vaccines will arrive. Maximum. And that we will be the last in the world to receive vaccines. That's what he said. We brought 12 million vaccines. Two vaccines per citizen without exception. Contrary to what Lapid said, we are not the last in the world. "We are world champions in vaccines. Instead of Yair Lapid giving up, I'm just starting to roll up my sleeves," he added.

The event, which was attended by Netanyahu and his wife, ministers, Knesset members and mayors senior Likud, was supposed to take place last week but was postponed several times due to fear of criticism about the gathering while other industries in the economy is still limited Resources Regulations.

Likud said that the conference was held under the limitations of character Green and will be open to vaccinators and recoverers only, and is limited to one hundred people in a large hall that can currently accommodate over a thousand participants.

Regarding prosecutor Pato Bensuda's decision, the prime minister said: "The court ruled that our heroic soldiers are war criminals.

When we build a house in Jerusalem, our capital - this is also a war crime.

"For many years we have worked against this intention in front of leaders of countries and governments, but when the court is biased against Israel - there is only one thing that can be done - to fight for the truth in world public opinion in order to keep every soldier a civilian warrior and commander," Netanyahu said.

According to Netanyahu, an internal survey conducted tonight by the Likud shows that the bloc of parties that support it reaches almost 61 seats.

"They made a surplus agreement between them, Gideon Saar has already said with certainty that he is going with Lapid, meaning that votes will pass from Bennett to Gideon to Lapid and Merav Michaeli and Meretz," he said.

He further stated at the conference that "I am going to bring tens of millions more vaccines to the country, because no one knows how long the vaccine is valid."

The event tonight opened a campaign of conferences that Netanyahu is planning around the country in the time left until the election in order to energize the Likud territory.

Tomorrow evening, conferences are planned for him in Petah Tikva and Ramat Gan, in which participation is also limited and conditional on the presentation of a vaccinated or recovering certificate.

This week, the government approved a regulation that allows elections to be held in the conditions of the green mark, in a format similar to the world of culture: conferences are allowed for up to 300 people indoors and 500 people in open spaces, while wearing masks and keeping a chair between people.
