After the title educational region, the district of Erding can now also call itself a digital educational region.
Bavaria's Minister of Culture Michael Piazolo (FW) presented the corresponding seal on Tuesday, District Administrator Martin Bayerstorfer.
Erding - “The district of Erding appeals to people of all ages with its digital education projects,” said Piazolo, naming the “Netpiloten” projects, in which older students educate children and young people about the dangers and risks on the Internet, and “IT for all ”, in which the elderly benefit from the digital knowledge of students.
The digital educational regions are a further development of the educational regions in Bavaria initiative.
Existing regional networks should be used, according to Piazolo, "in order to focus even more on digital education in a future-oriented manner".
Erding is one of 36 educational regions that are also taking the second step.
At the handover, Bayerstorfer declared: “This is great recognition for our educational work.” The seal shows “that we are on the right track”.
Erding has been an educational region since 2016. He promised to further develop the infrastructure.
