A couple of parents, residents of the Old City of Jerusalem, were arrested last night (Tuesday) on suspicion of abusing their two-year-old son.
Police have opened an investigation following a report from the hospital where the toddler has been hospitalized in recent days, suffering from severe injuries to his body.
During the day, the two will be brought in for a hearing to extend their detention.

He claims that at this point he ordered an ambulance, which evacuated the four-month-old to Barzilai Hospital suffering from a severe head injury.
