Protests renewed in a number of Lebanese regions to demand an improvement in the living conditions, with some crossing roads.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that protesters blocked a number of roads on the old Beirut airport road and inside the Lebanese capital, while the Lebanese army and security services were opening closed roads.
In Zahle, eastern Lebanon, demonstrators cut off traffic in the roundabout square in the city, while other protesters blocked the Rashaya Valley highway, which is made in the Dhahir al-Ahmar area, with tires and stones, in protest against the prevailing economic and living conditions.
The agency added that protesters also blocked the entrance to the Baalbek commercial market by cars and the Rayak Baalbek international road near the intersections of the roads leading to the towns of Nabi Sheet and al-Khader with burning tires, in protest against the living crisis.
In Sidon, protesters gathered on the banks street in the city to protest against the high price of the dollar and the deterioration of living conditions.
Since October 17, 2019, many Lebanese regions have witnessed demonstrations and sit-ins to protest against the deteriorating living and economic conditions and to demand the fight against corruption in the country.
