A 43-year-old Jerusalem resident was arrested yesterday (Tuesday) on suspicion of committing indecent acts on minors while in a public park in the south of the city.
As part of an investigation being conducted by the police following a complaint filed last month, the suspect was located yesterday and transferred to the police for investigation, at the end of which he was imprisoned.
Today, the police will ask to extend his detention.
Yesterday, the police announced that they had arrested a 21-year-old Holon resident on suspicion of having a sexual relationship on the Internet with a 13-year-old minor.
Yesterday, his detention was extended by six days.
Another case published last week was a suspicion of raping a 13-year-old minor during her stay at the Corona Hotel. According to the suspicion, Yarin Sharaf, a 21-year-old Sderot resident, raped her day after day during her stay at the facility. The girl said that when she tried to refuse, Sharaf hit and strangled her. Sharaf did not deny having sex with the girl, but claimed that she brought the suspect into her room and the relationship was consensual, and that she told him she was 16 years old.
