Eight people were stabbed on Wednesday, March 3 in the town of Vetlanda, in southern Sweden, during an
alleged "
terrorist attack
", Swedish authorities announced.
"
Some are seriously injured and others are slightly injured, but none have died,
" said Angelica Israelsson Silfver, police spokesperson for the Eastern Region, according to local media outlet Aftonbladet.

According to local media, the man involved, neutralized by the police, is in his twenties. The events are suspected of being a terrorist attack.
