Darine El Hassan has been distinguished by more than one sport, including gymnastics, swimming and physical strength, and has achieved local results and has moved towards training in martial arts after obtaining special training certificates.
In a statement to the SANA sports newsletter, Al-Hassan, 39, said: “I started practicing gymnastics and swimming at the age of eight, and participated in many championships and school sports events, achieved good results, and began practicing aerobics and fitness in 2004.
I entered the physical strength game in 2007 until I reached an advanced stage, so I went to training, knowing that I participated in many physical strength tournaments, the last of which was the Syrian Police Clubs Championship last year and achieved an advanced position.
Al-Hassan added: My passion and love for different types of sports always motivated and motivated me to develop myself until I became a martial arts trainer for the Police Club in 2016 and was able to prepare the team to participate in the Homs Junior Physical Strength Championship, which achieved first place and we also achieved remarkable results in the Republican Muay Thai Championship that was held in Fnal. Our team has three golds, four silvers and two bronzes. Preparations are also being made to participate in several upcoming tournaments for women and juniors with martial arts and physical strength games.
Al-Hassan indicated that she puts all the training experiences she has acquired during the previous years to prepare her team's players in preparation for the upcoming local entitlements and to achieve her ambition to reach the world and compete with the champions of the game in foreign tournaments.
