Paris / Amsterdam - Regardless of the Corona crisis, the Opel parent company PSA and its new merger partner Fiat Chrysler achieved a billion-dollar profit last year.

As both companies announced on Wednesday, the Peugeot manufacturer PSA had a net profit of 2.2 billion euros.

A year earlier, the value was 3.2 billion euros.

The Italian-American group Fiat Chrysler (FCA) achieved an adjusted pre-tax profit of 3.7 billion euros.
